Deep in the reaches of interstellar space a curious artist worked tirelessly to extract one precious drop of a fluid substance known only as The LiQU!D, and when this laborious and daunting task was finally achieved, he smiled manically to himself, only to release that 1drOp into the universe disseminating music and love to the curious and intrepid.
The LiQU!D
In the early 2000's four intrepid adventurers....

All of varying musical influences began communing together to audibly explore the interstellar regions of both time and space. Dedicated to being devoid of stylistic boundaries and as fluid as their name intends, the four intricately weave in between carefully crafted original material and improvisational whimsy. The band is tight, at an almost molecular level, from almost a decade of playing together they have honed their sound which is uniquely derived from a deep seated love of music of all genres…with the vigor and exploratory nature as some their classic influences such as Pink Floyd, the Grateful Dead and Led Zeppelin, coupled with grunge-era elements found in influences such as Pearl Jam, Radiohead, moe. Beck, STS9, etc.... Their sound is unmistakable yet difficult to describe in words as it ranges from nonsensical to cerebral and all musical frontiers in between. It is like if someone were to take a haphazard flagon of funk, a rainwater barrel of rock, a keg of reggae, a beaker of blues, a shot glass of new-grass, a jug of some jazz, a vessel of electronica and a syringe of that sludge left dripping from the merry prankster's bus, and threw all of that into a cauldron, heat it to its collective melting point right before slingshotting that molten madness into the void of space..
The result, is said to closely resemble the white-hot sonic reckless abandon that is The LiQU!D.

When The LiQUiD is not touring, recording, or
dripping through genres,
Guitarist/multi-instrumentalist Tom Gaetani, is off bringing his one man freak show on the road under the name 1drOp.
When one drop of LiQU!D is all you need. 1drOp is an eclectic loop-driven acoustic guitar based experience born from the ethos of the LiQU!D. 1drOp embodies the same exploratory nature and improvisational whimsy as its multi-player iteration, but the flow tends to favor the more relaxed side of the stream. Meandering through chill yet innovative and interesting takes on familiar classics, to unexpectedly thought provoking original songs. Sounds ranging from folk to funk, reggae to rock, jazz to jam and more.
